NKBA Olympic-West Sound Chapter brings together local Kitchen & Bath distributors, retailers, remodelers, manufacturers, fabricators, installers, designers, and other professionals — and provides a resource for local consumers to research, educate and connect with Olympic-West Sound Kitchen and Bath professionals.
Our mission is to promote professionalism in the kitchen and bath industry and to educate the public on the role and value of working with a qualified professional. We provide a range of resources to help both homeowners and pros learn everything they need to know.

NKBA CERTIFICATIONS
- CKBD — Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer
A Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD) specializes in the design, planning and execution of residential kitchens and bathrooms. CKBD designers must demonstrate that they have the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to design and document residential kitchen and bath solutions. In addition, they must possess the advanced communication skills required to succeed as a kitchen and bath design professional. - CMKBD — Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer
The Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD) is the pinnacle of our industry’s certification and recognizes extraordinary kitchen and bath experience and achievements. CMKBD candidates must possess a CKBD certification for a minimum six (6) years and meet specific education and industry work experience.
CEU’S
Certified Members are required to earn 2.0 CEU’s (or 20 Hours Education) every two years. Each 2 year cycle runs on a calendar year from July 1-June 30.
