An educational program written and developed by Kayron Brewer, CMKBD for use in the designer’s toolbox.
Join us on a journey through time and history of tile and its application to our home interiors of today. We discuss the origins and types of tiles and the applications of each category. We will share design tips to help you navigate the complexity of tile installations. The finished installation of beautifully executed tile will elevate your design professionalism.
About the Presenter
Kayron Brewer, CMKBD began her tile-focused career in 1993 after graduating with a B.S. Interiors & Housing from Auburn University. The foundation of her career was built by sales and management for several national industry leaders of the tile industry: Renaissance Tile & Bath, Ann Sacks and Waterworks.
Kayron spent 15 of her career years focusing on full service kitchen and bath design and working toward her CMKBD accreditation.
In 2016, she launched her dream of a boutique showroom, Cupboard & Clay, focused on her favorite products of the K&B industry, cabinetry and tile.
